This wine has a deep nose of crushed blackberry, cinnamon and eucalyptus. Rich and extracted with full-bodied flavors of burnt cherry, sweet blueberry and pie crust. Finishes nicely, but with just a faint touch of heat that mostly faded with more air time. A very fine effort that should easily drink well another 1-2 years. My first JC wine and I was pleased.

Had at dinner at Meritage. I loved this wine. Dry and smokey with hints of spicey. Atypical zin but great.
