2.5 months under cork, still an ace performer. Yowza!
Having it early in the evening made the sugar levels feel stickier than in previous dripping. Still a remarkable wine with a beautiful tannic structure and pumping red fruit.
Will be my goto Port from the day I run out of auction bargains.
Good with cheese. Great with Yuzu Osembe.

Blackish read, like an extracted novel tech-wine. Aromas: Young port with pipe tobacco, figs and many beautiful rich things. Mouth: This is bang in between acceptably sweet and too sweet. Almost my taste. (I prefer my ports to be with less sweetness.) Darkness, long, dark, plummy, yummy taste. Superbly balanced and long. Blinded, I think I would have gone for a ~20 yr Maury, as this is so rich and straightforwardly plum compote-y while retaining that young fruit.
Overpowering the hard cheezes of tonight, needs a Stilton or similar to wrestle with.
Washes off the stain that "Ruby" puts on it. I rarely like Ruby, but this is a glorious exception.

Nothing special, average young port

Qantas Business Class - Ground & Air; 10/3/2023-10/6/2023 (Sydney, Antique aircraft, Bangkok): Spirity brandy and cherries with no oak influence. Medium weight, off-dry, with more black fruit than red on the palate. Medium length finish carried by alcohol and the little bit of sweetness. Meh.

As before, especially the figs and the tobacco shine like suns. The tannic touch at the end is nothing short of marvellous.
Fabulastic!
