Drank absolutely beautifully last night. Bottom of cork was solid black and threw just a little sediment. A heavy funk blew off in minutes to reveal a beautiful nose of red fruit, cedar chest and stewed plums. Great balance and flavor with nearly fully resolved tannins. Really think this could have passed in a blind tasting for a 30 year old second growth Bordeaux that would be at least 5 times more expensive. Wish I had more.

This wine has held up well. Not a great Cab, but satisfying. Herbal nose, decent fruit on the palate. Enjoyable.

Licorice, blackcurrant, Chambord; punchy acidity; fleshy and ripe; controlled, but solid tannins; tasty, but a bit one-sided; steal for the price.

This vintage is still top notch. One of the best big cabs I've tasted. Holding strong... it opened up beautifully w/ the bottle at room temperature.
