Dark ruby and garnet color radiates with rich aromas of wild blackberries laden with cloves and allspice. Full-bodied, velvety flavors are further enhanced by the soft spicy character provided by fourteen months in french oak. Balanced acidity keeps the fruit flavors alive through a long-lasting finish.

I love this Todd Brothers Ranch zin. Not as good as 2003, but still quite good. Great midpalate feel and flavor. Plenty of fruit, but balanced and none of that sweet, candy overtone that you get from overdone zins. Second place after Seghesio blue label at our wine group.

Gingerbread, spice box and full fruit. If you want your Zins to express maxium fruit and not secondary aromas I would drink this up.
