  • Very powerful modern style Pinot. Loads of cherries, herbs and some earth. Maybe a bit too much alcohol and slightly too much sweetness, but luckily no aromas of incinerated nuts or overaged cherries. Pretty good QPR.

  • Wow, really liking this - Very special, medium bodied, cherry fruit and earth on the nose, nice concentration, complex, very smooth with a long finish, great QPR! (90 Points).

  • Nice, medium bodied Pinot with 'typical' notes, but also a kind of spicy edge to it, almost hot, but more spice, smooth on the palate with a medium finish - Great QPR (89 Points).

  • Dark colored, yet still telltale seethrough pinot. Nose is extremely sweet: red fruits laced in sugar, delicate flowers, vanilla, wood and fungus. In the mouth it's light on its feet with some of the same elements as on the nose. This is "wild ferment" meaning that no additional yeasts besides the natural ones have been added. It's very nice and interesting, but still has that overseas candied quality and the interesting notes quickly appear kind of artificial, almost like a perfumed soap. Rating: 88-89. Fair QPR at about 20 USD. Do try one yourselves.
(day 2) Just tried one glass that was left over (corked in the bottle, in the fridge) - pretty much unchanged, perhaps even more forward on the nose with loads of sweet strawberries.
