  Beautiful old lady of a wine.
  Pure, mellow cherry/hedgeberries, truffle with floral Pinotage nuances. Some earth. Elegant and integrated.
  À point and for drinking soon - by the end of decade. My last. Superb.

  Exactly as per my January note other than displayed truffly nuances that enhanced the whole further.
  Excellent, but wouldn't hold any remaining bottles too much longer. One to go!

  Decanted for 2hrs.
  Nose of dark fruit and some truffle. Clean dark cherry and plum fruit, smoke, earthiness and a dry green finish. Smooth integrated tannins. Medium bodied with decent length.
  Fully mature for drinking over the next couple of years. Idiosyncratic. Excellent, but towards the very end of its plateau.

  This was very good. funky nose, medium bodied. Some earthy notes and a touch of dustiness/mustiness and faint blue cheese aroma. Still a lot of blackish fruit in here with smooth tannins fully blended in. Fresh but dry. Slightly coarse finish. One of those kooky birds that over time you realise is actually rather fit. Ally Sheedy in the Breakfast Club, for example.
