Still fresh and vibrant. Feels like Lindquist out in the sticks trying to reinvent how Syrah can be made on the Central Coast in the 90s and from my perspective this deserves and gets a lot of respect. While on today’s scene this is not the most interesting or captivating bottle of wine this is absolutely a landmark and for a simple central coast Syrah at 22 years old I say Well Done. Bought a case at auction for a song. Solid purchase for sure. Actually ya know on second thought this is better than any central coast Syrah that can be bought in any grocery store in the United States, hands down. That at least is something I can say with confidence here.

Surprisingly, it held up better than I thought it would. The color is medium-deep and just starting to get rusty on the edge. It is just starting to get a hint of the tomatoe juice taste, but the tannins are still present. It is ok, but it was certainly much better 3-4 years ago.
