Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Old, dusty nose, of rose, tomato, port, moldy book, and some volatile acidity. The stronger VA blew off in about 15 minutes and got increasingly complex over about an hour. The fruit and tannins had fought a battle and the fruit won a pyrrhic victory. All that is left is strong acidity, earth/dirt, light red fruit, good gushy saline, with a tangy mint/eucalyptus on the end. No reason to keep this for much longer. Best with food. Drink up.
