Aroma: Unbuttered corn on the cob. Butter on the nose but not a butter bomb at all. Taste: Pear, creme brulee, slight citrus, melon. A full, very rich mouthfeel, almost oily. Very long finish. Sangiacomo Vineyard produces excellent Chards. Pairing: Sauteed Basa (fish) w/ either a chile lime seasoning or something like Old Bay, corn on the cob with butter and sauteed snap peas with butter and cilantro.

Nectarine, melon, apricot on the palate. A light finish of oak and maybe a hint of citrus. Not over the top buttery, but more than my preference. This is what I think of when I think of a good CA Chardonnay. If I was more of a malolactic fermentation fan it would easily be a 90 or 91.

a bit muted at first, could have been too cold, but then it came alive and showed off its nice floral, tropical fruits and subtle acidity. Great length and finish. Nice chards come from this vineyard.

Butter on nose, a little more musky than their standard Chardonnay, but in a good way. A hint of gin or something on palette.
