  • A gorgeous, fully mature red burgundy. All strawberries and earth and spice, with the fruit still quite fresh. Structure fully resolved, quite savory but still with some fruit, incredibly delicate and lacey in texture but still with plenty of flavor, not overly tart or drying out on the finish. Very classically Chambolle in character. Not a spectacular wine, but oh so pretty and elegant, this is the dragon we're all chasing with midtier mature Burgundy. It made me happy.
