Popped and slow oxed for 10 hours hrs before dinner. Hmm. This one wasn't as good as my last bottle. A bit disjointed with noticable acid and tannin. Add steak and this smoothed out but was just a good 20 year burg, not anything to rave about. Lacking the punch, depth, minerality and zest of previous bottles.

Quite good, though maybe a little less enthusiastic here than other commenters. Agree with notes stating that it really blossoms and rounds out over a few hours. Was a bit tired initially, but morphs into a real ethereal wine -- truly one that you can attach that much-overused term to. Always a touch off-kilter on the finish, though -- which unfortunately snaps one out of their ethereal bliss. Fairly nitty on that complaint, though -- this is good wine, and should be for many years to come.

Popped and slow oxed for four hours prior to dinner. Dark fruit and mineral. Great depth and concentration. Mid weight and smooth. This one is in the zone but potentially still on the upswing.

Burg Blowout (Woodstock, GA): Slight beefy note to the red fruit and floral notes, aged and complex but still plenty of life, very vibrant color, softer mouthfeel; very good.

Corton night : Wine and Dine (At my place): Very strong enticing pinot nose, this is an elegant aged Corton. It feels really Beaune to me with earthy character and a good finish.
