Tasted at the December 2008 NCWS tasting. Deep colour. More black fruits: cherries, blackberries. Intense, complex and long on the palate. Needs time as it is still fairly tannic, but it has excellent potential.
Compact and closed. Enjoyable due to a level of juicy and correct fruit around the edges and a good texture, but not in the least expressive. This is not a negative TN, but I also have absolutely no way to judge this wine in Clos de la Roche terms.
Really restained, almost shut down - more reminescent of a reserved, 2001-like vintage than a ripe one. Rather compacted, but good styling and pure red fruits and floral notes. Nice wine, but not showing up to its pedigree at this point.
