Sampled on several different occasions at the wine sampling machinery at Papa Joe's in Rochester Hills, Michigan. About $1.58 per ounce. Light brown colour from age. The aroma is not remarkable. The flavour is dry and characterized by subdued, softened tannins, obviously from ageing. Overall, high good to very good.

Xmas dinner 2003: brick red color; started with classic aromas/flavors of red fruits plus coffee and vanilla; however, after less then 15 minutes all aromas/flavors were gone; light body; very light wine.

Cedarwood and herb aromas with a smooth, reasonably long finish of sweet cherry and plum.
