GHW, Yarden, Cabernet Sauvignon 2003: So, seems that this wine has finally gone over the hill but it remains interesting and enjoyable nonetheless. Dark garnet towards purple in color with a light red brick hue at the edges of the rim. On the nose, very ripe black fruit such as blackberries and cherries with notes of dates, figs and cinnamon. Full-bodied, with on the palate sweet blackberries, figs and dried strawberries as well as plums followed by hints of red jalapeño, earth with medium-plus acidity and soft tannins highlighting some vanilla on the moderately long finish. 14.5% Abv. 90-91
