  Slight cork taint but blew off with air time. Colour light ruby, not deep. Fairly straightforward nose, raspberries, red currants, a touch of spice, not turning secondary. Also reasonably straightforward but attractive, slightly sweet expression on the palate. Ripe enough, just below medium weight, with tannins integrated and acids in balance. Well made with good underlying material. Good Bourgogne-level wine, just lacking sufficient complexity, flavour profiles and development (for a 2002) to be very interesting. To drink over the next few years, I would not expect it to improve. 88.
