Losing a bit of steam now. It's softened out quite a bit, and still has lots of fresh pine notes to it. The tannins have softened out quite a bit too. Time to drink.

The first straight Carmenere to come out of BC. This wine is spectacular! Inredibly deep and dark, exotic and powerful. Smells of pine, earth and brambleberries. Intense flavour, perfect grip, smooth but big tannins. Easily one of the best wines from BC that I have ever tried. Well done.
