Cherry and plums, medium tannins, light cedar, medium oak influences, a little dry and cedary. Alchohol and spice. Not as rounded and smooth as many CA reds, but very decent at price point. It is what it should be (not a blockbuster, but then again its not supposed to be). This is not a fruit bomb, and it isn't intended this way. Solid work by the folks at Chappellet!!!

Dry and not very flavorful. Fairly typical California Sangiovese.
