(Max Ferdinand Richter Braunenberger Juffer Riesling Spatlese) Pretty expressive nose of slate, peaches, slight(call me crazy) cat-pee-gooseberry-thing, and tangerine. Bright on the palate with loads of pure fruit and a very sneaky finish. You think the wine is going to finish soft but it just explodes with a citrus kick and leaves a slatey taste on the palate.

Drank at Food Studio in Hudson. Lovely, vibrant bottle of riesling. Petrol, apricots and peaches on the nose. Medium weight and body, plenty of white fruit on the palate, solid acidity and good minerality. Freshness, light sweetness, but not at all sappy or cloying. Delicious bottle of well-aged riesling, drinking very well.

sappy citrus fruit. some mineral. mid is bright with apricots and peaches. with time - pear and the acidity comes in as well. a great last bottle from the wine that made me love riesling.

Bright and clear, a little sweet with green apple acid to balance. Rich but a bit flat. Long finish. Not a great cork and signs of slight leakage, but that said I'm sensing a downward slope at least on this bottle. Good.

The nose was honeyed, showing notes of lemon curd, fresh flowers, pineapple, melon and smoke. On the palate I found weighty textures like heavy silky with flavors of citrus-tinge ripe peach and sweet spice. It finished clean, with green apple acidity and hints of peach.
