Pretty good right now. Tannins have integrated, reasonable amount of acid probably means this can sit for at least another few years. Primary notes of red fruits still showing be starting to turn into secondary aromas. Balanced, silky. Will take my time opening the other bottle.
Ruby red in color. Red cherry, brown spice, soy and wet soil inflected nose. Savory red cherry fruit is framed with strong earthiness, medium acidity, slightly grainy tannins and a mineral laden finish. Not bad, but would have liked more sap on the mid-palate.

(Joseph Drouhin Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Rouge) Spicy, intriguing tart red fruit and cherry nose; rich, medium body with good concentration, sap and green notes; medium-plus finish (made from Pinot Noir and a small amount of Pinot Gris)
