  • Very mature nose of baked black cherries with rosemary and thyme as well as a distinct note of eucalyptus. Medium-full bodied, the tannins are completely resolved and this is on the downswing. Lots of baked/stewed red cherry fruit with high acidity keeping it together. This is an interesting and complete wine but definitely on the downswing. 90

  • Beautiful, give it some air and you will have a pleasant evening. Pair with light food or drink late evening.

  • Oh, the pleasure of expectations exceeded. I came across this in the cellar, and thought it needed to be drunk without delay. What I found was a classic Northern Rhone in its prime, displaying quality and longevity. Classy winemaking. A delicious Syrah with a sense of place. Vg+

  • Unfortunately my last bottle of this. I would be a happy man if this came out of my faucet instead of water. Ready to go on the pop and pour, perfectly balanced. Great acidity, smooth tannins, medium bodied. A very enjoyable wine for a great price.

  • Wow, this was awesome and my best bottle of this so far. PnP and drank over 2 hours. Silky smooth mouthfeel with balanced alcohol, good acidity and a medium finish. Just spectacular for $18 all-in. It's nice to have wine like this that doesn't require multiple hours of air time to be open for business. If this bottle is indicative, I would not give this any air time....just let it develop in the glass.
