Aroma of ash, tobacco, smoke, saddle leather, dark cherry, acetone, pepper, red licorice, skunkbush seeds (native Western NA plant). Palate shows mostly in the front of the mouth, with tannins most prominent. Smoky flavor, light on fruit, if at all. Has a 'fall' taste. Light on acid. Soft, enjoyable.
