Way past its peak but still very much drinkable. It's in secondary/tertiary phase, nothing even remotely close to the typical Glaetzer signature. Tastes like a mellow Right Bank Bordeaux from a moderate vintage. Requires a long decant (we did 24 hours after initial filtering) + food.

Apply within if massively oaky Barossa caricatures are your sort of thing. Some jet-black coffee notes provide a reasonably complex overlay to the extract and ripeness. The whole experience is not dissimilar to listening to an entire George Michael album in one go: quite fun but you wouldn't want to make a habit of it.

Drank this because we saw the age it was time but still showed a bright hue and vibrant dark red fruits, frsh nose of plum and spice.
