What strikes at first is freshness of color: while not very deep it has a ruby color with hues of purple after ten years! Nose has medium intensity, is clean with dark fruit (blackberry, sour cherry), spices and a hint of flowers. On the palate it is medium bodied, with good flavor intensity, fluid texture and medium structure. Very enjoyable now, not a great wine, but still very nice and I feel it can develop to further complexity over the next 5 to 7 years. It reminded me a lot of a good Nemea wine.

1990s Rhones at Domaine (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): A baby, but already shows signs of turning that corner froma mostly red and black fruit driven wine, to one with more depth and complexity. Had some nice anise notes, underbrush, and savory herb notes too.

Dark fruited, savory, not as animalistic as other Cornas I’ve had, but it’s there. Quite good and in it’s prime.

Nice mature Cornas with abundant sweet fruit.
Could age even further.

(was 95.99) Still good color; blueberries and blackberries in nose; slight tannins but wonderful fruit flavors.
