Decanted for 2 hours. I've been waiting to open this bottle, and now was the perfect occasion. This is ripe and ready, full of excellent blackberries and plum, with a touch of vanillary oak. Dark fruits, full bodied, and nowhere near the end of its life, still plenty of stuffing in this!

Fortfarande mörk frukt, kryddor och lite örtighet. Och tanninerna är sidenlena. Men det finns toner av stall som som indikerar att den är på väg 'over the hill'. Ett bra vin.

Wonderful....again. Love this wine. Classic CDP. Fully mature and at a great spot. Still plenty of fruit but lots of secondary characteristics as well. Bricking on the edges. Intense nose of dark fruits, leather, mushrooms, roasted meats. Full bodied and loaded with cassis and plum, black pepper, cinnamon and cloves, espresso, mineral, licorice. Nice complexity and balance. Long, tasty finish. Still some tannin and a bit high on alcohol but overall a great CDP.
