Garnet red. Herbs on the nose. Ripe on the palate, some heat on the finish. Pleasant and enjoyable but would be better in cooler weather.

A very nice expression of a traditional grenache dominated ChdP. On the nose bright raspberry was evident, and rounded out with cherry fruit. The palate was bright and fresh, with the raspberry to the fore, along with olive, spice and cedar. The savory and long finish was rounded out with a pleasant minerality. A really liked the weight and mouthfeel of this wine, very burgundian in texture. Based on this example well stored bottles could another couple of years but I would drink up and enjoy!
