oh, so brilliant. Slightly pale and bricking around the rims, this took a full 8 hours to die. Which means to say that it is still very much alive and kicking. Great balance and elegance, had some fruit and smoke on the nose.
This is why I LOVE Williams-Selyem: Even when I open one of their "premier cru" wines, as opposed to Grand Cru," I am blown away with this winery's ability to age their wines so gracefully. This wine was more than I expected, which is always a great experience...
