  • My last bottle. Lovely cherry and red fruit with thyme and Provençal herbs. Luscious and soft. Too bad it did not hold up well on day 2. Drink now.

  • Dark blackberries, black raspberries, and brambleberries. Medium mouth feel. Sustained finish. Medium tannins with a little astringency at the end. Excellent food wine. Enjoyable to sip after dinner. We're glad we have another bottle in the cellar.

  • This wine showed charred oak, vanilla and mild blue fruit undertones. Chai tea, potpourri.
Was structured well, not flabby. Palate ended in a strong mineral note.

Too much oak char to be enjoyable. This was not sickly sweet, but sickly savory/. You get hints of this in good Rhône ( north and south) but this is all she held.

  • This has improved. Pronounced stew fruit with rich flavour that is supported by plenty of complexity.

  • Last of four; these have been good. This one was lightly corked actually, but cellophane pretty much took care of it. It also had a darker and dried fruit / prune quality on the pop that had me thinking this was pretty done, but 30 min. to an hour smoothed things out and transitioned to a more red fruited affair, with earth, black tea, damp leaves, cinnamon, potpourri, and dried orange peel adding complexity and really appealing to me. Light to medium body with medium acid and finish, and flavors of dark red and dried red fruits, black tea, bitter orange peel, lemon, and maple syrup. Enjoyable, but I'd still say drink sooner than later if you still have any.
