Drank this side by side with a '90 Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne, and at first it appeared this would be the winner. It's eyebrow raising right out of the glass, but it reaches its plateau quickly. In the end the Corton was better, but this was the winner up front. A very solid wine, with classic Meursault characteristics on the nose and palate.

G7 (Alex): Dark golden brown in color. Maderized nose. Dull, pear fruit. Short, flat finish. Most likely heat damaged. What a shame.
