Community Tasting History

Community Tasting Notes (average 87 pts. and median of 89 pts. in 4 notes)

Tasted by MiamiWineNovice on 10/31/2009 & rated 90 points: Nose showed stone fruits, pineapple and honey with a touch of minerality. Palate was rich and buttery with honey, pineapple and apricot with a little nice botrytis bitterness. Sweet with a lingering exotic fruit finish. Not a showstopper but a solid dessert wine. Nice QPR at $18 - I will seek this out again. (68 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 5/9/2009 & rated 90 points: It tasted and smelled exactly what the notes on the bottle have described peaches, honey and apricot, that's amazing . One of the best tasting dessert wines i have tasted but serve this one cold because it loses some flavor when it gets a warm. You can't go wrong with a Rosenblum wine. (163 views)
Tasted by ian95762 on 4/30/2008 & rated 88 points: Thich & sweet. The Rot had a bitter sweet taste in a good kind of way. Will buy again. (312 views)
Tasted by yeastbeast on 7/4/2007 & rated 80 points: Our parting drink after the 4th of July cookout. Buttery and sweet, but without any distinctive character. Couldn't really taste the botrytis. (531 views)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in almost 10 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
