  Tertiary aromatics of soy, truffle, decaying leaf, cold tea and caramel. It has blocks of sweet, vinous flavour in the mouth and there’s a nice earthiness and plenty of pine needle sap.   Very appropriate color, hinting at maturity but still lively. This still shows plenty of fruit, tea leaf, and nuanced secondary notes, plus very nice structure in perfect balance. Certainly fully mature and not going to get better, but this was a lovely surprise and roundly praised by all.
