Tempier Tasting (Tom's House, Palo Alto): My #7, group's #5. Hidden nose, tired, tannic, no fruit left; integrated tannins, low fruit; finish is moderate length. Overall quite over the hill.

(Domaine Tempier Bandol) Group's #8 (my #6) – 60 pts.; 1, 1, 1, 4 – nice light shitake mushroom nose; Balsamic and good acid, like a nice older Barolo, with hints of strawberry and raspberry and mushroom; medium-plus finish

1982-1988 Domaine Tempier Bandol Blindtasting (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Moderate bricking, clear meniscus. Bit of strawberry on the nose. Light to medium bodied, spice and red fruit. Nicely balanced. (my 4th, group's 5th)
