Served in large Riedel burgundy glasses. Decanted and served 1 hour after opening. Classic Nebbiolo, clear red with brick overtones. Nose was highlighted by light prune jam, wild berries, some earth, a touch of tar and spices. Quite savoury, very smooth, fully integrated tannins, long finish with prunes and spices. Served with a rich pork Osso bucco and stewed carrots.

8 hours upon opening serving into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Pale ruby with purplish hues.
Very strong fruits as expected of this vintage. Needs to be served at slightly lower temperature but this is showing good pedigree of the producer’s style here.
94 points.

Color: Dark leather, almost like a Porto. Nose: Again notes of a porto. Taste: almost no tanin, very velvety, not very long but very pleasant.
Opened and poured immediately. There was a significant deposit at the bottom of the bottle.
Paired with a porc loin (with mustard & maple glaze).
Very good and my guest also truly enjoyed. Hence the high notes. Of course, ready to drink NOW.
