Disappointing. For a Chambertin. Nose and palate started with herbal, green bell pepper, medicinal notes, very subdued. As it opens, no richness, a touch sour, minimal fruit, thin.

Clean and rich, with traces of the hard, firm structure and clarity that the best '04's show. High-pitched raspberry fruits. Not really Chambertin-like, but very enjoyable.
Saturday Tasting Group (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Not nearly as young as it should show.Still incredible length displaying nice funk, bright red fruit and a long finish with sublime acidity.
Served at The Wine Club in SF at a wine tasting: quick notes: sweet flowers on the nose; light on the palate iwth a dry finish. Very Good.
