More round and buttery on day two. Nice. I didn't get the tropical nose that others did. But clean citrus was present and it was slightly sweet. I wonder if I should have consumed it last year. It was good now, but maybe better last year?

A:Buttery yellow, honeyed pineapple juice N: Tropical citrus, banana laffy taffy , slight pepper mint T: Buttery citrus fresh cut green grass and hay. Tropical fruits like mango pineapple banana. F: Smooth and refreshing Overall: Tasty, suprising. We are not white people but this was fascinating and certainly sparked interest. Very enjoyable, we should have a case of this on hand and not even think about it. V: 3/5

Pale golden color. Seductive, yet delicate, nose of pineapple & steely lime. If blind, I'd have pegged this as predominantly Sauvignon Blanc with lesser amounts of either Chardonnay and/or Semillion. The initial attack shows rich, flavorful fruit, hollows out quickly through the midpalate, just as a distinct acidic grip begins taking over. In the end, this interesting concoction is anything but flabby. And where they hid the 15% alcohol is a complete mystery! Nice QPR at this price point. [15.0% abv.; $16.00].

Popped and poured and served at 70 degrees for purposes of this note. Smells like a sweet viognier. Loads of Pear come through strong and hard, with some apples and kiwi following soon after. Palate is more of the same, fairly sweet and concentrated but a good amount of heat coming through (15.5), obviously better cold with that heat.

Mollydooker Tasting, Cary, NC. Crisp, melon and citrus, moderate acidity. Reminded me of a pinot grigio.
