Delicious, elegant, and still quite fresh and young. Being gewurz, this isn't exactly high acid, but it had a certain brightness and liveliness - not at all cloying. I might even call it restrained. Really enjoyed it.

Medium yellow; not too aromatic with classic rose notes with touch orange marmelade or cointreau with touch of ginger; medium body, very dry, not too intense, but clean, well made, well balanced with alcohol nicely in check at 13.5%. Very nice gewurz indeed. Maybe 90.

Notes consistant with the last bottles, but like vanpe003 I agree this one had some astringency on the finish that was not present on my prior bottles. Overall though a very nice Gewurtz and my last bottle. I really like Weinbach wines.

(Domaine Weinbach Gewurztraminer Cuvée Théo) Lovely, refreshing, spicy Gewurtz nose; very sweet entry, cabbage and a little cloying, but good minerality; medium-plus finish

Football & Merlot @ Howard's 2009 (Old Greenwich, CT): Rosewater, spice, lychee. Very dry, crisp and delicious. Cuts like a sword across the palate.
