Lacked depth of fruit but had a nice finish. Hard to believe this has been sitting too long. Has been stored exceptionally well.

Wow, massive Volnay. Big tannins, big texture, full in the mouth. Nose had tons of tobacco and dried fruit. Impressive power, structure to keep going for years.

Holiday Champagne Gala (Park Ridge Country Club): Small glass, brief note. Red and black cherry with floral aromas. Still firm and slightly backward, but the density and power makes me confident this will develop into a very worthwhile wine, 2025 forward. That's the '05 vintage.
