PNP. Cork perfect. 46F. Color gold. This one is sweet and lacks acid to balance making it seem a bit flabby. Not a surprise for the vintage I suppose. The flavors are dense and the finish is long. Served w hot curry was passable otherwise leans toward dessert side. Drink or hold but not sure that there is much upside to waiting. There is acid in there, but doesn’t come out until wine warmer. Would serve at cellar temp or warmer

Petro, lemon, yellow fruit and botrytis induced complexity? A bit better length than the roseneck perhaps. Would've benefitted from a bit more freshness, but absolutely enjoyable

Slightly honeyed gold colour. Med intensity with lemon and pear noted and honey - some botryitis? Off dry with good body and medium acidity. The citrus is more subtle on the palate carried through on a honeyed spine. Very balanced that starts out sweet and becomes less viscous leaving a refreshing finish. Acidity really plays its part here - v good.

Intense flavor. Minerals and florals, with the minerals more intense. Very smooth, without that little bite before the finish that most lessor Riesling seems to have (is that acid? lack of balance?). Not as elegant as the Donnhoff. Very easy to drink. Went very well with the spicy asian dinner we had at E&O. The bottle dissapeared quickly.

(Weingut Josef Leitz Rüdesheimer Berg Schloßberg Riesling Spätlese) Very light canary yellow color; lovely aromatics, herbal, earth nose; concentrated, almost viscous apricot and stone fruit palate; medium finish

Frankland Estate International Riesling Tasting - Workshop #1: "New Wave from the Old World" (Sydney, Australia): Labelled "Magic Mountain". Nose has some florality to it, but is also quite reductive with minerals and has strong glue aromas. Palate is light in body and goes up and down, dry at first then some mid-palate over sweetness and then back to dry for the finish.
