Strong Asian pear essence and flavors. Off dry, lighter alcohol (12%) Pear flavor is almost a bit too strong at first, overwhelming the subtler melon flavors from the sake itself

What's up with the 50-point score? This is such a smooth sake...and SOOOOO good with spicy food. I could drink an entire bottle of this with a spicy Thai dish, or some fiery curry. Very very smooth, with a hint of pear. Must be drank cold. Momokawa/Moonstone Sakes are meant to be drank chilled. Warm them up and pay the consequences. Great sake!

Neither sweet nor dry with soft pear fruit. Delicious. Great with sushi, spicy stirfry, vegetarian fare. 13.5% (D 5.5, F 6.5, Pine)
