The wine looks rosy colored. The legs are fast. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin, sherry and sherry. It tastes like gooseberry. The body is light. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity.

On the nose, cola, sour cherry, creamy vanilla, some spice. Taste is of more cherry, some black pepper, cream. Some tannins still present. There is a lot of acid still in this wine, the fruit is not very prominent, but it has held up better than expected. On the next day, the fruit continues to fade, but the acid is pungent.

has some flavor, lots of body (even a little creamy), sort of tingly on the tongue. I like the amount of structure (lots) but it's a little sour actually, actually i want to like it but dont really(AR)

Day 1-out of wack acidity and hot. Day 2--much better; red pinot fruit with significant spice notes and lesser meat notes; medium body and acid where I expect for a RRV pinot. Day 3-like Day 2, but sliding down hill. If I had more, I'd be inclined to wait 12-18 months for the next bottle.

Tasted side by side with the 2006 RRV PN. This won the battle. Softer and more approachable.
