A decent sparkler with the typical BdB citrus aspect, lime peel on the nose. Citrus is predominant on the palate, but a bit og peach and some floral notes are also present. Acidity was lower than what I prefer in a BdB, and the mousse was a bit on the sloppy side. A decent wine, but for the price (here in Norway at least) there are definitely better deals from Champagne, as well as Spain and Italy. 84 points.
Great with fish dip and lobster cakes. This is actually the best showing this has had. A little yeast, some citrus, some melon, a little acid to cut the fat in the dip/lobster cakes and some toast so it was a little like an appetizer all by itself.
