First experience with Sherry (solera) and I was not disappointed at all. So much depth of flavor. Brown color kinda like a clear molasses. The nose is dried raisins, dark honey and really jumps out of the glass. On the palate, dried figs, raisins, maple syrup, buckwheat honey and a long finish with roasted nuts that just keeps coming back, like a heartbeat of flavor on the tongue. For the price that this is sold this is incredible. Really helps with that sweet craving.

A rare but pleasant companion in my glass of sweet Pedro Ximenez blend with Palomino, aged separately over 12 years in their own solera, then blended and aged additionally for 3 years in 45 cask solera. Medium brown colour, amber hue. Medium intensity aroma of caramel, coffee, medicinal notes, prunes in liquor, honey, shoe polish, hint of maple syrup. Full body, concentrated and intense with caramel, mushroomy, coffee and nutty flavours, light spicy acidity.

La robe est brune mélasse. Un nez sucré, sucre brun, cassonade. Une bouche sucrée avec une touche de rancio, le px a pris le dessus sur le oloroso. Un peu trop sucré.

Nice flavours of caramel, dried fig and melted orange marmelade. Strong structure made by alcohol and elegant bitter softened by wished sweatness. Very good, powerfull, complex. Medium length.
