2005-2011 German Spatleses (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA): Ripe pear nose. Prickly, chalky, clunky palate. Strange and slightly unpleasant. (my 7th, group's 7th)
Delicious reisling. Sweet fruit, oily flavors with excellent body and long finish. My first riesling of the summer and it did not disappoint.
