Zachys in Chicago (EL Ideas - Chicago IL): Very charming aromatic start with sweet spice, red fruit hints and clean mushroom character. Very good combination of earth and fruit hints on palate. Slightly sweet character is very nice, but I could be convinced this isn't 100% Pinot Noir, but lots of pleasure so 91 or 92 points on that basis.

Chambolle-Musigny les Amoureuses Dinner, Mostly Groffier (Boka - Chicago IL): Popped and poured. Aromas of mature red fruit, plenty of underbrush and sauteed porcini mushrooms. Similar overall flavor profile with good supporting tannins, then great spice emerging on long, evolving finish. This amazingly kept improving for three hours in glass.

Lieu-dit-Cru - Amoureuses Day dinner (Boka): Full red (surprisingly) color. Full spicy briar red friut with a bit of mustiness on the nose (this blew off with some time). Medium good red cherry and saddle leather on the palate with a hint of sweetness remaining and some spicy pepper too. Firm tannin remaining on the finish. Instead of falling apart in glass, this wine actually continued to open up and improve over the 45 minutes or so I had it in glass (and longer for others) and picked up a couple of points with time, eventually surpassing the 71 for me. 94+ pts.

Zachy's 2019/10 - 2 (Le Bernardin Prive): Fairly corked, but from nose a very polished and well-made wine. NR
