Cherry bouquet and I swear I got some cantaloupe on the nose. Very fruity. Ate with Mediterranean (falafal) and it paired well. Easy going drink- simple drink. A great wine for beginners as it didn't have much complexity nor strength/tannin - but did have character. Finish was dull. Could drink quite a bit of it. Grab a bottle... I guess there's a reason Dolcetto is known as Italy's Merlot.

(CHIONETTI DOLCETTO DI DOGLIANI BRICCOLERO) #4; COLOR-dark; NOSE-fresh water stream; soapy aspect; raspberry component; pretty tight; TASTE-more New World; very explosive & big; good firm tannins; gets a little Aussie/Spain on me; less up my ally, but many would like; too floral for me; predominantly floral; good grip and I like the overall complexity; beefiest; but floral & one dimensional; it's good; very solid; AG-90; GV-88

Ripe cherry fruit on the nose and the palate, serious acidity, good mouth feel. Needs to breath, serious stuff.
