  This bottle is an excellent example of what a family of German extraction making Bordeaux style wines in the lower Napa and Sonoma Valleys can produce. A cab-merlot blend, it exhibits a light body with notes of stone fruit and minerality. It is very smooth on the palate. Indeed a bit more acidity would be desirable. A long and unpretentious after. Probalby needs to be consumed within the near future.
