WOW! Considering the age of this wine, it was a joy to drink. Upon opening, the cork crumble into the bottle, but not until the cork screw was screwed in. As expected, lots of thick sediment and plenty of fine sediment went through the screen of the aerator. Brick orange in color with enough life that this wine will go on longer.
What can I say, a real treat to drink a 50 year old wine bottled during Kennedy's time and so well drinkable. Not quite as nice as the prior bottle but the fill in this one was slightly lower. Alcoholic taste which burned off and left dark fruit, figs, tea. Pretty long finish which eroded over time.
