  Clear, luminous raspberry red color. Very intense, open and expressive nose with aromas of cherry marmalade, cranberry, ripe forest fruits and some sweet oak aromatics. Surprisingly full-bodied for a Pinot Noir, yet far from heavy and ponderous - thanks to moderately high acidity. Ripe yet more savory than sweet palate with a bright cherry core, surrounded by nuances of cola nut, meatiness and a hint of minerality. Very soft and gentle tannins. Lovely balance, freshness and structure; 14,2% alc. remains nicely hidden. Long, juicy and rich finish that is a bit sweeter than the midpalate with flavors of brroding dark cherry, ripe cranberry and peppery oak spice in the aftertaste. Lovely, tangy acid lift in the end.
  
  This is a moreish, utterly balanced and elegant Cali Pinot with lovely complexity and nicely integrated oak. Despite being already 10 years old, I'd venture a guess that this wine will still be drinking nicely after another 5-10 years - although it doesn't actually require a single one more. A harmonious, well-made example of Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Worth its price at 45€, recommended.
