  None of the mean greenies or green meanies that the vintage is known for. Cranberry and ripe cherry and definitely starting to show its age. Bricking on the edges. Tannins receding, smooth and easy to enjoy. Grand cru quality, well perhaps. Both sweet and tart at the same time, and very pleasant. Will last for 5 more years but im not sure it will improve a whole lot.

  Dark red/brick. Nose is very ripe cherries, over ripe fruit, fruit cake, cherry syrup and oyster shell. Dense on the palate, the fruit is dark and a little baked, but that does not detract. Weight and viscosity are substantial. Tannin is fine and only at the very end.

  Beautiful fruit on the nose and some leather. A bit closed still but wonderful cranberries, cherries, and acidity. Lingers wonderfully.
