2000 isn’t supposed to be a good vintage for white however this could be one of the best Perrieres from Roulot. Impeccable nose with round structure. Hint of flint yet possesses of typical roulot lemon, coconut, crushed stone flavours. Very very good!

(Roulot Guy Meursault Perrières) I cannot lie, I was hiding away 3 bottles for a rainy day, but the moment (the party actually) got the better of me. Not much of a note as I was without pen - just a glass! The intensity is superb, this is an excellent wine that puts many a Corton-Charlemagne to shame. Not cheap, but worth searching for - now I'll have to replace it - with interest!

That is cracking with energy. Citrus, precise, tense.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): On the ripe side with pina colada aromas, too rich for me, too ripe. Much more advanced the outer worldly Choche and Boillot next to it.

Citrus, minerals, rocks and flint. Laser sharp acidity accompanied by terrific tension, cut and complexity. A great Perrieres from Roulot.
