Conc: Solid aging potential for a long time, showing well now and i imagine in future excellent so youthful now
Dinner with my wife Marilena at "Telemachus BBQ Club" (Nea Kifissia - Athens). It is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Mourverdre, matured for 2 years in new french oak barrels. Saturated ruby with a dark core. At the beginning the nose was shy, but after 1 hour of aeration in the decanter this wine is realy a cocktail of aromas... Scents of berries, wood, sweet cherries, plums, and sweet licorice. Totaly full bodied with flavors of kirsh, cedar, vanilla, coffee beans, sweet spices, leather and minerals. Long and smoky aftertaste. Will improve with further cellaring.
